Volkova recognized for leadership in AI research and human-centered AI
Aptima is proud to announce that our Chief of AI, Dr. Svitlana Volkova, has received the Outstanding Senior Area Chair Award at The 2024 Conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing (EMNLP) 2024. EMNLP, one of the premier conferences in Natural Language Processing, was held in Miami, Florida, November 12-16, at the Hyatt Regency Miami Hotel.
“I’m deeply honored by this recognition from the EMNLP community,” said Dr. Volkova. “This award reflects my commitment to advancing AI research through careful evaluation of innovative work and supporting emerging researchers in our field.”
