We are excited to announce the appointment of several distinguished new members to our Board of Directors. Each brings a unique perspective, deep technical expertise, and a proven track record of leadership across defense, research, and innovation.

Scott Fouse is a retired Lockheed Martin executive and veteran R&D leader with deep expertise in advanced technology, intelligent systems, and technology transition. As former Vice President of Research for Lockheed Martin Space, he led large, DARPA-focused research organizations and advised senior defense and aerospace entities.
After departing Lockheed Martin, he founded Fouse Consulting Services and where he continues to serve in key advisory and board roles, including providing strategic growth guidance to Aptima and other technology-focused organizations.

Dan “DARPA Dan” Kaufman is a nationally recognized leader in privacy, cybersecurity, and advanced technology innovation. At DARPA, he founded the Information Innovation Office (I20), overseeing pioneering programs in AI, cybersecurity, and big data – including early AI tools for counterterrorism and the first dark web crawler — earning the Secretary of Defense’s Medal for Distinguished Public Service.
He later led advanced AI-hardware initiatives at Google’s ATAP group and co-created DreamWorks Interactive, helping shape early console strategy and Xbox prototypes through a collaboration uniting entertainment and technology.

Dr. Mark Luettgen earned his SB, SM, and PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT and is the Co-founder, President, and CEO of Systems & Technology Research (STR). With a background spanning ALPHATECH and DARPA, he has deep expertise in signal processing, estimation, optimization, and control applied to national security challenges, including radar, communications, ISR, and command and control systems.
Under his leadership, STR developed advanced technologies for defense, intelligence, and homeland security, while also pursuing innovative commercial applications such as automated medical imaging tools.

Josh Jackson is President and Chief Executive Officer of Valkyrie Enterprises, a defense contractor that provides engineering, technology integration, training, logistics, and program management support to the US military. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President of SAIC’s Army Business Group, where he led strategy, business development, and delivery for a 3,500-person organization supporting the US Army’s most critical missions.
He has driven digital transformation initiatives across AI, cyber, cloud, and enterprise IT, and previously led a major turnaround of the company’s US Navy business. With a background in engineering and innovation, Jackson is active in industry and academic advisory roles and champions workforce development, public-private partnerships, and diversity initiatives.

Dr. Stephen Chambal is Chief Technology Officer for KBR Government Solutions (US), where he leads technology strategy and innovation initiatives. He previously served as Chief Growth Officer at LinQuest and held leadership roles at The Perduco Group and in the US Air Force. Dr. Chambal holds both an MS and a PhD from Arizona State University.
