Daniel Speaks: ISPI 2019
On 15 April 2019, Aptima CEO Daniel Serfaty gave the Closing Keynote at the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) 2019 Annual Conference on the future of work (11-15 April 2019, New Orleans, LA). For the closing Keynote, Daniel linked together the ISPI 2018 theme of Storytelling with that of 2019 regarding the future of work and led the audience in imagining alternative future scenarios involving the Reengineering of Human Performance in the age of Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.
The ISPI Annual Conference focuses on a different core theme each year. The 2019 Conference explored the art of storytelling and how it complements and strengthens any consultant’s tool box. Speakers and participants were encouraged to use those opportunities, as well as their publications, to tell the “story” of performance improvement: who we are, what we do, where we have been, and where we are going. The event explored storytelling as a science, as a means to change behaviors, engage clients, promote change, and lead organizations through evidence and also an experience.
