Aptima is proud to be a corporate sponsor of this year’s National Center for Simulation’s Virtual STEM Camp for middle schoolers in grades 5 though 8. Boxes of supplies are now being delivered to students’ homes for the camp.
Sponsored each year by NCS in conjunction with US Army Educational Outreach Program, US Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, National Defense Industrial Association of Central Florida, Florida High Tech Corridor Council, University of Central Florida School of Modeling, Simulation and Training, the program was moved online due to COVID-19. Based in Orlando, supplies were shipped to students as far away as North Carolina. Tuition is free and students are each paid $125 to attend for the week. Sessions are being held July 6-10 and July 12-16.
