SANDMAN is a generative-AI system that transforms complex movement and geospatial data into structured insights and readable narratives. Using graph neural networks and anomaly detection, it identifies patterns, highlights points of interest, and provides Airmen with mission-ready summaries — reducing analytic workload and improving situational understanding.

The Modeling and Simulation Integration Lab (MSIL), established with support from the Department of the Air Force Chief Modeling and Simulation Office, provides a multi-fidelity, multi-domain, human-in-the-loop environment for testing and evaluation. PALADIN is an AI-driven forecasting tool that transforms multimodal threat data into clear predictions of Red Force actions. By automating behavior modeling and generating machine-assisted course of action insights, PALADIN reduces analyst burden and enhances decision quality across the air tasking cycle.
Monitor cognitive readiness and pilot safety with fORE.
The fNIRS Operational Readiness Estimation (fORE) suite integrates the MAVERIC fNIRS sensor with advanced analytics and an AI-enabled decision support platform. It monitors neural, physiological, and cognitive indicators in real time — delivering actionable assessments that improve safety, performance, and training effectiveness for pilots and aircrew.
