What we do

Readiness

We combine powerful AI-enabled technologies with expert services to help our customers efficiently and effectively achieve readiness in their organizations. From training to force planning, we work alongside you to apply tools, data, and human-centered engineering® approaches — so you can build a more prepared, more capable, and future-ready force.

How we optimize readiness

Our proven solutions in the field

We’ve launched several solutions that have been tested and proven in real-world scenarios, elevating the readiness of today’s Warfighters.

SideKick Training Accelerator

AI-Enabled Training Development for ISDs

Shorten the training development process with Sidekick Training Accelerator. It uses advanced generative AI, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and Chain-of-Thought (CoT) prompting to gather information, generate training analysis outputs, and support key ISD tasks — while keeping humans in control for accuracy and trust.

By acting as an expert resource and streamlining thousands of analysis actions, Sidekick-TA gives training teams faster insight, more consistent outputs, and a scalable way to build high-quality content in a fraction of the time.

PROPEL

Tactical Action Officer Precision Learning

Propel ingests training data from simulators and instructors to generate clear, actionable performance scores and personalized learning recommendations. Its adaptive algorithms highlight strengths and weaknesses, track how skills develop or decline over time, and guide learners toward the right next scenario to stay in their optimal learning zone.

By combining observer inputs with real-time data and projecting future skill decay, Propel gives training teams a precise, holistic view of performance — helping them deliver more focused instruction, accelerate skill acquisition, and improve readiness across any training environment.

White Cell In A Box

Portable Data-Driven Assessment and AAR Training Solution

Strengthen readiness wherever teams train with a portable assessment and AAR solution. White Cell In A Box captures objective performance data, unifies mission playback across multiple systems, and digitizes observer and team evaluations — all in one deployable package.

By bringing these capabilities together, White Cell In A Box helps training leaders quickly understand what happened, identify performance gaps, and deliver clearer, evidence-based feedback across live, virtual, constructive, and simulator-based environments.

PBT

Proficiency Based Training

Proficiency-Based Training (PBT) is a data-agnostic and scientifically grounded approach that uses operator inputs and performance data to deliver individualized, scalable training across diverse mission sets. By combining insights from multiple integrated tools, PBT measures what operators actually do in training, tracks progress over time, and identifies exactly where additional practice or increased difficulty is needed.

By unifying human performance data, simulator outputs, and mission context, PBT gives training teams a precise, evidence-based picture of proficiency — helping them tailor instruction, optimize training time, and maintain a consistently ready force.

How we’re moving the industry forward

Advanced research & development

We’re leading some of the most exciting and innovative R&D in the readiness space. Explore a few of our most recent initiatives.

We are using generative AI and retrieval-augmented generation to develop methods to automatically estimate job-relevant knowledge and skills from existing documents — such as resumes, evaluation reports, and doctrine. This research supports more accurate, data-driven workforce planning and talent management.

We are building models that align personnel to the roles where they will be most effective, using competency insights, performance data, and mission needs. This work supports informed staffing decisions and optimizes career planning at scale.

We are leveraging AI to rapidly generate high-quality, mission-relevant training scenarios. By automating scenario design, this research aims to reduce development time and ensure teams always have the right training for emerging challenges.

We are evaluating whether human-AI teams are performing well. Our EMHAT research uses simulation and causal evaluation to model instructor behaviors, assess team performance, and identify where AI can better support human partners. This helps ensure AI-enabled systems enhance, not hinder, mission outcomes.

We are developing advanced methods to test, model, and improve influence campaigns in realistic, high-fidelity environments. This research supports MISO/PSYOP analysts and planners by providing tools that simulate adversary behaviors, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and strengthen decision-making in cognitive warfare scenarios.

Integrated with our BRIES behavioral and resilience insights, this work helps teams understand how individuals respond to influence, pressure, and information dynamics — ultimately improving training, assessment, and mission readiness.
